I am a bit different to other “Fitness Gurus”.

When I was young I definitely wasn’t the “sporty” type.

I grew up eating coco pops, hot chips on white bread and drinking Fanta.

  • Before I worked as a trainer for a huge chain of gyms,
  • Before I ran my Body Transformation gym and trained thousands of clients over 14 years,
  • Before I started Miss Fitness Life and helped thousands and thousands of people through my online programs…

Before I changed my own body and became a Body Transformation expert, I was actually out of shape

I struggled for a really long time to get into shape.

Everything I do today is to help people who feel stuck just like I did.

My story starts out when I was incredibly unhappy with my body.

Nothing was working to make it change. 

  • My clothes didn’t fit…
  • I was unhappy with how I looked in photos…
  • I was frustrated with the fat I could see every time I looked in the mirror…

I had been trying to get into shape for a really long time.

I Tried Putting Myself on Extreme Starvation Diets.

I would always start off okay, but soon after I would get uncontrollable cravings and hunger.

My hunger led me to crave all the wrong foods, and every diet always ended in a blowout.

Then, full of shame, I would start all over again.

I Forced Myself to Start Running.

Everyone told me “all I needed to do was to go for a run”.

  • I hated every second of it,
  • I dreaded every hill,
  • It made me feel sick.
  • And it was soooo boring.

Worst of all I was extra hungry afterwards…

In Desperation, I Joined a Gym.
I was so self-conscious.

I had no idea about what I should be doing.

The first time I went to the gym, I flew off the back of the treadmill onto the ground in front of everyone…

It was so embarrassing.

I also tried:

  • Detox kits, magic weight loss pills…

  • Skinny teas, diet food, eating clean…
  • Juice fasting, exercise videos…

I had tried it all.

Sometimes I would lose a small amount of weight but never as much as what I wanted to lose…

Before I knew it, the weight went straight back on.

 I just didn’t know what more I could do.

  • I was hungry all the time.
  • I had crazy cravings.
  • I couldn’t budge the fat from my tummy.
  • I just didn’t have the energy to do anything.

I was stuck
I was beginning to believe that I would never have the body I had longed for.

I may have seemed happy on the outside…

But I was really sad on the inside…

I had my biggest breakdown when I saw photos from my holiday.

It was one of those moments where you’re just like –

“Oh my gosh, is that me?”

I started crying.

All off my dieting

and all of my workouts

had actually made me more out of shape.

I had more fat, more cellulite, my clothes were too tight and I even looked OLDER than my age.

My biggest breakdown also turned out to be my biggest breakthrough.

What did I discover in my breakthrough?
